Studio-180 Capital Campaign
In 2020 the riots in south Minneapolis destroyed vital businesses, and families were deeply impacted. Hope was destroyed. The Building Hope in the Inner City campaign brings back hope by establishing a fully equipped training center for two vital urban programs:
Trades training for high school youth so upon high school graduation, they can qualify for higher paying careers.
Urban Leadership training that equips leaders to achieve transformational change.
We hope to purchase and remodel our current building in south Minneapolis, naming it The Tony Oliva Leadership and Trades Training Center. Named after an immigrant that persevered, achieved his dream, and never lost hope. With your support we can build this new facility to create change, healing, and hope for our inner city.

We want to bring hope back to the community and we think a good way to do this is to help young people get great jobs after they graduate from high school. Lake Street Works is located in the heart of South Minneapolis, within the blocks vandalized in the 2020 riots. We have a vision to build back our community one student at a time.

Are you a passionate advocate that is committed to loving your city and participating in positive change with your God-given skills and experience? The goal of our Rising Community Leaders (RCL) program is to equip emerging leaders with skills, toolsets and mentorships to engage in community building advocacy and projects. Our training, coaching, and curriculum is key to translating the learned experiences of our faculty and staff into models of transformation that can be utilized in any culture, community, or city.
