ENVISION, TRAIN, EQUIP, COACH, URBAN TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERS

OUR MISSION:

RISING COMMUNITY LEADERS:

The goal of our Rising Community Leaders (RCL) program is to equip emerging leaders with skills, toolsets, and mentorships to engage in community-building advocacy and projects. The Rising Community Leaders program serves people who are committed to social justice work and are already engaged in some kind of community-building activity, specific to their location.

Our training, coaching, and curriculum is key to translating the learned experiences of our faculty and staff into models of transformation that can be utilized in any culture, community, or city.

Our goal in 2022 is to hold 2 training sessions with 20 individuals in each session and then provide ongoing mentorship over the course of the year.

A PROGRAM WITH PROVEN URBAN IMPACT

Our curriculum is based on fifty years of first-hand experience from prominent city leaders.

The training is offered through a combination of in-person and virtual learning. With the online format of the first cohort in 2022 (March-July), we were able to have 19 individuals from cities in Minnesota and Iowa.
